The Studio
There is a geometry inside every sheet of kraft paper.
A repeating hexagonal lattice, waiting to bear weight. We are the studio that decided to build furniture with it. Nothing more complicated than that.
The Problem
The furniture industry gives you two choices. We refused both.
Buy heirloom hardwood with a five-figure price tag — or accept fast-furniture designed for a landfill. Particle board masquerading as wood. Designs that look good in photos and fall apart in homes.
Fold Studio is the third path. Kraft paper honeycomb — the same accordion geometry used in aerospace panels — compressed into furniture that holds 300kg, folds flat to 2cm, and composts when you're done with it. This is not sustainability as an afterthought. This is sustainability as the entire point.

The Material
Paper That PerformsLike Hardwood.
Virgin kraft paper honeycomb — the same accordion geometry used in aerospace panels and Formula 1 bodywork — is the structural core of every Fold Studio piece. Acrylic and PU side panels give it the appearance of stone, concrete, or linen. Bamboo and MDF bases anchor it to the floor.
The result: furniture that looks like it belongs in an architect's home, built from a material that composts when you're done with it.
