How do I track my order?

Once your order ships from our fulfillment center, you'll receive an email and SMS with a tracking link. You can also check your order status anytime from your account dashboard.

What are the shipping options?

We offer Standard (5–7 business days) and Express (2–3 business days) shipping across the US and Canada. Free shipping on all orders over $250.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery takes 5–7 business days across the continental US and Canada. Express is 2–3 business days. Alaska, Hawaii, and remote areas may take slightly longer.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

You can update your shipping address within 2 hours of placing your order by contacting our support team. After that, changes depend on whether the order has entered fulfillment.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship to over 30 countries worldwide. International shipping is calculated at checkout and typically takes 10–18 business days. All customs and duties are the responsibility of the buyer.

What is your return policy?

We offer a satisfaction guarantee on all standard items. Products must be returned in their original flat-packed condition. Custom color orders are final sale.

How do I start a return?

Email us at hello@foldstudio.com or message us on WhatsApp with your order number. We'll send you a prepaid return label and arrange a pickup — no trips to the post office needed.

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. You'll get an email confirmation the moment it's processed.

Can I exchange for a different color or size?

Yes — contact us after delivery. If the new item is in stock, we'll arrange a swap with free shipping both ways.

How do I set up my furniture?

Open the box, unfold, and it's ready. No tools, no screws, no instructions needed. Most pieces set up in under 30 seconds. Every order includes a QR code linking to a video guide.

How flat does it fold for storage?

Every Fold Studio piece compresses down to just 2cm flat — thin enough to slide behind a door, under a bed, or into a closet.

How do I clean my furniture?

Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a soft eraser. Avoid soaking or submerging in water — our pieces are splash-resistant but not waterproof.

What if I spill something on it?

Act fast — blot (don't rub) the spill with a dry cloth immediately. Our kraft paper is treated for light splash resistance, but standing liquid can cause damage if left.

Will my cat or dog destroy it?

Honest answer — a determined scratcher can damage the surface, just like fabric or leather furniture. That said, the honeycomb structure is surprisingly resilient to casual paw contact. Most pet owners report no issues.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal. We also accept Klarna and Afterpay for buy-now-pay-later.

Do you offer installment plans?

Yes — split any order into 4 interest-free payments with Klarna or Afterpay. Available on orders between $50 and $4,000 USD.

Do you offer student or military discounts?

Yes — we offer 15% off for verified students, active military, veterans, and first responders through SheerID verification at checkout.

What is the furniture made from?

Virgin kraft paper engineered into a honeycomb lattice structure, compressed at a 1:40 ratio. The same architecture used in aerospace panels and Formula 1 bodywork — adapted for your living room.

How much weight can it hold?

Our furniture is rated to hold up to 300kg (660 lbs). That's 3x more than most paper furniture competitors. Every piece is load-tested before shipping.

Is it really 100% biodegradable?

Yes. Our kraft paper contains zero plastics, resins, or synthetic adhesives. At end of life, recycle it with cardboard or compost it — it returns to the earth completely.

Is it a fire risk?

All Fold Studio pieces are treated with a non-toxic fire-retardant coating. As with any furniture, keep away from open flames and direct heat sources.

What colors and finishes are available?

We offer natural kraft brown plus a rotating palette of 12+ colors. Premium finishes include matte, satin, and our signature forest green. Check each product page for available options.

How do I join the trade program?

Apply through our B2B page with your business details. Approved members receive up to 30% off retail, a dedicated account manager, priority production, and NET-30 payment terms.
